This master plan for a new 150-acre urban community includes single family homes, duets, townhomes, and multi-family mid-rises and high-rises, as well as a 70,000 SF clubhouse with 2 restaurants. Chengdu is the capital of the Sichuan Province and is in the southwest part of the People’s Republic of China.
The development follows the curve of the natural waterways that hug the community. Many of the residences are located along the river frontage to maximize visual impact. It is also situated next to an
established amusement park that provides a distinctive visual signature.
The solar axis of each of the buildings have been carefully planned to assure that each of the residences receive ample sunlight. The single family homes will be situated in the interior island while mid- and high-rises will sweep the perimeter so that they won’t shade the rest of the buildings. To maximize the amount of available natural light, all living areas will have large windows, skylights, roof monitors, and light wells.
